Christian Concern for One World (CCOW) and the Diocese of Oxford are
running a series of events exploring different aspects of Christian
creation care. The next event is on 29th April in Oxford or 6th May in
Reading and will look at “Creation Care: Theology, Spirituality and

Tickets are now on sale for our Regency Ball to be held on Saturday 6 May. Live music, Period dances and supper. £10 adult, £5 children. Get your tickets from Andy Mullens now!
CTW Woodley Outreach:
The next Saturday outreach in Woodley will be on 13th May. We meet in the Front of Church at 10 o’clock for worship and training and then there will be an opportunity to go out into the precinct in groups to share with people about God’s love for them, and to invite them to Praise in the Park. Monthly waste paper collections at St James Church Centre:

After 29 years our final collection took place on Saturday 18th February.  From now on please recycle your waste paper and card via the weekly black box collections. We thank everyone who has supported  our efforts over the years. Please click here to see what has brought this about.

On Sundays we have 2 services each week 9 am and 10.30 am. Then on the second Sunday of the month at 4 pm we have Messy Church, and there are occasional opportunities for Evening Service with Christians across the Town During the week we also run a Holy Communion service which is on the second Wednesday of the month at 10 am. We look forward to welcoming you at one of these services and getting to know you .
