We are pleased to advise that we took 86 filled shoeboxes to the Reading collection point for the 2017 Operation Christmas Child appeal. These came from the St James congregation, our Messy Church congregation and some from Woodley Baptist church. Thank you to all who supported the appeal.
St James Church Centre now has a Defibrillator available 24×7 mounted on the wall nearest the car park.  If you need it in an emergency call 999 to obtain the access code. Located at Kingfisher Drive RG5 3LH.

We now record the sermons from many of our 1030 Morning Worship services. You can listen online or download for offline listening later, or catch up on any you may have missed. See ‘Sermons’ on the top menu or click here.
Do you shop online? If so St James Church Centre could benefit from small donations by the retailer every time you shop, by you signing up to the easyfundraising scheme. It costs you nothing. For details please click here.

On Sundays, we have 2 services each week 9 am and 10.30 am. Then on the second Sunday of the month at 4 pm, we have Messy Church.  During the week we also run a Holy Communion service which is on the second Wednesday of the month at 10 am. We look forward to welcoming you at one of these services and getting to know you.

St James 2020 Vision is to be a growing people of all ages that:
1. Are rooted in prayer and growing in our faith in Jesus Christ
2. Are growing as confident disciples, and are willing and able to make disciples of others
3. Are committed to nurturing and investing in children and young people
4. Are growing in our understanding of and open to being empowered by the Holy Spirit to build up the church of God
5. Reach out into our community to be and to share the good news of Jesus Christ both inside and beyond the church walls, and across Woodley in partnership with others
6. Are listening, generous, and committed to quality in all that we do
