BURNS NIGHT – A RESOUNDING SUCCESS
The roof project received its first major cash injection on Saturday 28th. January when approximately 90 people from St. James and surrounding churches attending our first Burns Night. The majority of guests tackled the Haggis with much enthuasium. For the Sassenachs, there was an enjoyable Steak Casserole (the meat of course did come from Scotland).
The committee are pleased to report that £520 was raised for the project.
